Our Story
Treats by Tarah began with our own dog.
She was overweight, low-energy, and unable to run or play the way a dog should. Simple things — walks, playtime, joy — became difficult for her. We knew something had to change.
We made the decision to focus on her nutrition. We removed highly processed foods and treats and replaced them with simple, protein-forward options. The change was dramatic. Her energy returned. She lost weight. She started running, playing, and acting like herself again.
Watching how profoundly diet changed her quality of life changed ours too.
That experience became the foundation of Treats by Tarah.
We didn’t set out to create a business. We set out to create something better — something honest — and realized other dogs deserved the same opportunity to thrive.

Treats by Tarah was created from a simple belief: dogs deserve real food, not fillers.
What started as making treats for our own dogs quickly became a mission after seeing how many common dog treats on the market caused digestive issues, broken teeth, allergies, and long-term health problems.
So many pet products today are over-processed, filled with preservatives, artificial flavors, and ingredients that don’t serve a dog’s natural biology. We wanted something different — honest, single-ingredient treats made the right way, with transparency at every step.
Our goal is not to be the biggest treat company. Our goal is to be the most trusted.
